average stay. problems with restaurant and outdated decor
bland food outdated decor
the hotel offered a bus connection to the city center, including a free bus ticket for longer stays.
the restaurant downstairs was almost empty but understaffed. staff said every table was reserved, but no reservations occurred, indicating tables were held too long. the food was bland, and breakfast was ordinary with cold items. the hotel is outdated with old furnishings and decor.

yay for igls adventures!
free tickets historic hotel regular bus skiing season
the hotel provided tickets for the bus. i did not pay to get to the slopes. it was a historic-looking hotel and i loved its exterior. we were very much towards the end of the skiing season so it was quite quiet. there is a bus stop right outside with a regular bus service every ten minutes.
the curtains weren't big enough for the windows. light came into the room because of this. the beds creaked whenever i moved. there wasn't a fan in the room. the water pressure in the shower was really poor, and i could not wash my hair properly.

the breakfast had some fish options, i am a pescatarian. it included some veggie options too. the restaurant and bar staff did an excellent job. they provided us with the best possible experience!

there is an underground parking with e charging station. the hotel has a nice indoor pool. the sauna has a lounge area and looks excellent. the gym, sauna and pool are lovely.

alpine lodge igls center bus stop parking available
hotel design had alpine lodge style. it was in igls center, it felt ideal for active summer vacation. bus stop was next to the hotel and it gave connections to nordkette. parking next to the hotel was available. the breakfast has a great variety, i liked this.
the hotel appear a bit outdated with old furniture and decor. it gave slightly aged vibes.

Breakfast had many choices and good quality food was availables. the restaurant closed early at 9pm. It made it hard for us to eat after a long day. i wanted to eat later.

pretty public areas historic exterior regular bus service traditional cuisine
The hotel boasts very pretty public areas and a historic exterior i loved. the bus stop is just outside the hotel. It provided regular service into the city center. i found traditional austrian cuisine in the restaurant. the sauna was also very nice and relaxing after a day out.
The hotel lacked heating control, so it became too warm during the night! some staff members had manners that could be improved. They seemed impolite to me.

The staff at the restaurant was especially kind and helpful. I appreciated the attentiveness shown. paula provided superb check-in service. She was very efficient. hani, the restaurant manager, was also very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast had a wide selection with plenty of drinks. The variety was excellent. the restaurant provided good traditional austrian cuisine. the bar had limited stock. Brandy and white rum were unavailable!

The room had a tv. It was a smart tv so i could watch streaming platforms. the room was spacious and very clean. I found it cute. rooms feature themed decor. It was a special touch.

unhelpful staff insufficient storage
breakfast had a lot of choice from 7 to 10 am.
The staff was not very friendly or helpful , especially at reception. when i asked for assistance with a problem in my room, i felt my concerns were dismissed. the room lacked proper organization. There was no real closet, just a hanging rail, and a small minibar without room for personal items. it made unpacking and settling in difficult.
